My name is
Christopher Simpson and I have been in business since the 1960's. Up to
the 1990's I had been involved in the management of specialist refrigeration
manufacture, import/export, national distribution etc., then for many years I
owned a company specialising in frozen foods for caterers and home freezer
users in the Bristol area. I was even successfully manufacturing and selling a
specialist product associated with freezers which I had invented and patented.
I was then taken ill and had to give up all my businesses.
However, I was determined to
continue to work. During my previous years in business I had used Sage
Accounts since the earliest days of Sage, when programmes were all
'dos' etc.. I had kept myself up-dated and now added Sage Payroll to my
pool of skills.
Trading as
Benet Services, I decided to use my
knowledge about Sage to help others - SMALL
BUSINESSES and INDIVIDUAL TRADERS - to set up their accounts and operate them
until they could take on someone on a permanent basis. However, some clients
have been so satisfied that I was asked to continue on a longer basis. I have
done all the book-keeping and Accounts Administration for a local electronics
manufacturer using Sage LINE 50 for 7
years, and similar work for a private girls school at East Brent over 4 years
using Sage INSTANT ACCOUNTS Also, for many
years I have done - and continue to do - the accounts (using Sage INSTANT ACCOUNTS) for a local church - which is
a charity rather than a manufacturing or service company. Finally, I have been
processing Sage PAYROLL for a number of
clients - one client for about 10 years.
My experience is the widest
available. Any of my clients would be willing to give a reference about my
abilities.
I still have spare capacity and now use this time to offer
advice and help for others to set up their accounts/payroll for their own
employees to operate.
